Ken’s Foods

Located in McDonough, GA, the new Ken's Foods facility is a state-of-the-art 341,000 sf ASRS distribution center. It is a recent addition to Ken's Foods' network and primarily focuses on automating receiving, storage, and shipping processes. The facility substantially upgrades the company's manufacturing and distribution capabilities.

Facility Features

• Construction: The project engaged Martin Concrete for various concrete work scopes, including 8,100 sf of slab-on-grade, continuous dock pits and 254,581 sf of concrete paving.
• Tilt Wall Panels: The building includes 14 tilt wall panels totaling a surface area of 13,260 sf. Sika microfibers have been used throughout the concrete paving to decrease the plastic shrinkage of the fresh concrete.
• Spaces: The completed building features office and leisure spaces, such as a trucker lounge, alongside the manufacturing and distribution side of the facility.
