Palmetto Regional Distribution Center
The project involved significant structural enhancements, including a massive shell augmentation and the creation of multiple dock pits. It also required considerable modification of existing features to accommodate new developments.
Project Highlights:
Construction Details: The project consisted of a 1 million sf shell addition and the incorporation of 187 dock pits. The development also necessitated the specific saw-cutting, demolition, and excavation of existing slab areas to install new interior footings.
Additional Infrastructure: The newly installed foundations supported an approximately 34,000 sf office mezzanine, expanding the overall operational area.
Reflecting a successful interplay of construction and selective demolition, this project significantly bolstered the structure's existing infrastructure.
